-Please, be on time.  You will be checked in by the AD Department and fill out paperwork before we can look at you.  If you are late then the Costume Department does not get as much time to make sure you look great.

Club Doorman/Valets:
Please bring black dress pants, white button front dress shirts, nice black shoes.  We will provide you with a vest and tie.

Florists:
Please bring simple, casual shirts in solid colors (T-shirt/Polo/Button Down), chinos or khakis and casual lace-up shoe or loafer to work in.

Bartenders:
Please bring black dress pants, black button front shirts (for women- just make sure they button all the way up) and black shoes.  We will provide you with a Bow Tie.

Waitstaff:

Please bring black dress pants, white button front shirts (for women-just make sure they button all the way up), and nice black shoes. We will provide a vest and tie.

**COME DRESSED IN YOUR BEST OPTION... BUT PLEASE BRING BACK-UPS**

Party Guests:

Women--You are at a High End Country Club Party and the theme is Midsummers Bloom... so think Elegant Garden Party!  THE MORE COLORFUL THE BETTER!

Please see inspiration board as a guide...  If you happen to have floral or feather hairpieces please bring them!

**Please bring proper foundations garments (spanx, bras, etc.) --whatever you need to look your best in your dress options.

**Please bring fun, sparkly jewelry to coordinate with your outfit as well as handbags.  

***YOU WILL BE STANDING ON GRASS AT A GOLF CLUB... PLEASE BRING BLOCK HEELS OR WEDGES!!    STILETTOS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED!

*** if you have tattoos please bring a nice layer to wear 

Men--This is a preppy summertime garden party at the Country Club.  Kind of like the Kentucky Derby without the hats or the Azalea Festival in Wilmington---AKA VERY COLORFUL!!  Please see inspiration board above...

Please bring Spring/Summer Suits, Sport Coats, Slacks, Dress Shirts, Ties, Bow-Ties, Pocket Squares, Decorative Lapel Pins and dress shoes or dress loafers. 

**Think Easter Colors--Seer Sucker, Polka Dots, Plaids, Madras and Florals are all encouraged!! Lean towards dressier!

Typical outdoor workwear.  Heavily worn t-shirts, button down work shirts, long jeans or dickies style work pants, lightweight cargo pants or zip-off type pants,  work boots if you have them and dirty old sneakers if you do not.  Baseball or straw hats... Old, stained clothing is preferred! 

Pool Guy:

Please bring solid color, subtle shorts that can get wet... Plain swim trunks or water-resistant sweat wicking type shorts, plain polos and sun shirts.

For men: button down shirts with a tie, dress slacks or khakis, a casual jacket if you have one, and shoes to go with the ensembles you bring.

Plain Clothes Detectives:
Men: Please bring suits, sport coats, slacks, khakis, dress shirts, ties and dress shoes.
Women: Please bring pant suits, slacks, blouses, conservative shoes and jewelry.

Perps:
These people are lower class.  Please bring tanks, ripped jeans, shorts, baggy gym shorts, crop tops, flip flops and sneakers... dingy and dirty is encouraged. Please bring options!

If you do not own golf clothing... please bring: daytime casual resort wear--day dresses and collared shirts w/ slacks.

Caddies:

Executive Chef:

These are our Outer Banks upper crust people. Think preppy casual & out for a day on the boat. Some brands that work well for the Kook characters are Vineyard Vines, Southern Tide, Ralph Lauren, Lily Pulitzer, Rainbows, & Sperrys. These are the most colorful characters on the show so please take a look at the inspiration photos below and bring items along those lines.

Men- please bring polos, button down shirts, sun shirts, bright colored swimsuits/swim trunks, khaki and bright colored shorts, baseball hats, visors, croakies, flip-flops and loafers.

Women- please bring bathing suits, tanks, polos, skirts, shorts, sundresses, rompers, coverups, sandals, boat shoes, sunglasses, casual purses, and hats.

Kook Teens:  You are at a private summertime pool party w/ your Kook Friends!  Dress to Impress! Think King Street boutiques.. preppy and dressing to flirt :)

 



Hot Tourist Girls:

You are playing teenage hotties from the city who are here on vacation.  You are hanging out w/ the wealthy, preppy crowd at a private pool party.

College Kids:

Please bring polos, button front shirts, t-shirts, khaki shorts, basketball shorts, chinos, skirts, sundresses, sneakers, loafers, summer sandals.  These are students at UNC-Chapel Hill, so if you have any UNC gear or light blue please bring it.  Backpacks if you have them.

Berlin's Shoppers:

Upscale, ultra preppy daytime shoppers. Classic, wealthy and traditional.  NO Jeans or Jean Shorts, please.  Some brands that work well are Vineyard Vines, Southern Tide, Ralph Lauren, Lily Pulitzer and Sperry's.  These are the most colorful characters on the show so please take a look at the inspiration photos below and bring items along those lines.

Dock Workers:

These people are down and dirty worker types. They work outside in the sun all day so we want to make sure the clothing is as lightweight as possible. The saddest, most worn out old sneakers, wellies, shorts, T-shirts, work shirts, sun shirts, fishing shirts, dirty old tank tops, hats and sunglasses.  Cargo utility or dickies type pants.  The more worn in the better!

Salty's--to become --Mainland Dock Workers/Marina Rats

These are people who were born and raised by the ocean. Super worn in clothes that you have been fishing in for years.  Dirt and stains are great!  These people aren't thinking about fashion.  

Men/Women--Old Tees and Tanks, worn in button down shirts, dirty old jeans, shorts, fishing pants.  Work boots, rain boots or old sneakers. Old fishing hats and baseball hats.

Relief Workers--to become--Mainland ND:

Relief Workers: These people are doing Post Hurricane Clean-Up.  Please bring casual shorts, pants, simple T-shirts and work shirts... sneakers, boots and wellies.

Mainland ND: Casual Daytime Clothing/Business casual... dress for your type!  It's a summer day so you could be out shopping or on a lunch break from work.  Please bring a few options. 

Tourists--to become--Mainland College Kids:

Tourists:  This is the vacation crowd. Typical beachwear.

Men- please bring flip flops, tshirts, short sleeve button front shirts, shorts, baseball hats, and sunglasses.

Women- please bring shorts, tank tops, sun hats, casual summer dresses, sandals and flip flops, sunglasses, and casual purses.

Mainland College Kids:  

Please bring polos, button front shirts, t-shirts, khaki shorts, basketball shorts, chinos, skirts, sundresses, sneakers, loafers, summer sandals.  Backpacks if you have them.

Dock Foreman:

These people are blue collar worker types. They work outside in the sun all day so we want to make sure the clothing is as lightweight as possible. The saddest, most worn out old work boots,  sneakers, wellies, shorts, T-shirts, work shirts, fishing shirts, dirty old tank tops, hats and sunglasses.  Dickies-type work pants or cargos.  Please bring hard hats, gloves and safety vests if you have them.  

Barge Captain:

These people are down and dirty dock workers. Please bring dirty old work wear and boots. Knee pads, hard hats and work gloves are encouraged.  Cargo utility pants or shorts, dickies type work shirts or coveralls.  The more beat up and dirty the better! 

Sheriff Deputies:

Please bring white crew neck t-shirts

National Guard:

Boat Owners--to become--Infrastructure Workers:

Boat Owners: Please bring shorts, sun shirts, fishing shirts, neck gaiters, sun hats, baseball caps, boat shoes, flip flops and wellies

Infrastructure workers:

These people are down and dirty dock workers. Please bring dirty old work wear and boots. Knee pads, hard hats, reflective gear, and work gloves are encouraged.  Cargo utility pants or shorts, dickies type work shirts or coveralls.  The more beat up and dirty the better!
