Welcome back to OBX SEASON 4---Shooting WEDNESDAY, JUNE 14th! If you are new with OBX, this blog is where you will find out important information on what kind of costumes you should bring as a Background Actor on the show.
-Please, be on time. You will be checked in by the AD Department and fill out paperwork before we can look at you. If you are late then the Costume Department does not get as much time to make sure you look great.
-Always come dressed in your first, best choice of the descriptions for your character. After reading the character descriptions that you will find here, make your best pick and wear it in. However, you will ALWAYS be expected to bring multiple options with you so that we can make the final choices. The final choices will be made by the Costume Dept. Please respect that we have the overview of the day and the show, and do not complain about what we ask you to wear. Solid colors, wide stripes, plaids, and large scale prints are great! Some color is good, as long as it isn't neon. Please do not include items with narrow stripes, neons, glitter, sequins, uncomfortable shoes, and clothing with large logos & graphics/ trademarked characters (giant nike symbols, star wars tees, etc). On this particular show, simple logos are okay as long as it is mainly wording/ lettering/ phrases (not large pieces of artwork).
- It is MANDATORY that you read this blog before coming to work EVERY TIME YOU WORK.

AUCTION ATTENDEES:
Keep it casual, but with bright colors. The people at this auction have the money to buy a piece of property, so please let the options you bring reflect this (please no rips or holes in clothing).
Men: please bring short and long sleeve button-up options, polos, chinos, nice shorts, jeans, khakis, boat shoes or clean sneakers.
Women: please bring lightweight dresses and skirts, jeans or trousers, blouses, flowy tanks and good layering options, sandals or clean slip on shoes.
Please also bring accessories that make a look feel complete: handbags, sunglasses, hats and jewelry.

AUCTION WORKERS:
Please bring both clean jean and khaki options for pants, you will be provided a shirt with a logo to wear. The auction workers are also going to have a western look, so please bring cowboy hats, large belt buckles and cowboy boots. If you don't have cowboy boots please bring a leather boot or your most similar option.

BLACKSTONE/GOLD TRUST APPRAISERS AND TRUSTEES
Please bring suits, dress shoes and long sleeve button-ups for options - these do not need to look fancy, just average business attire. Bring along accessories to make the outfit complete, such as ties or watches.
