5/27/22---INT/EXT. KITTY HAWK ADVENTURE CAMP

   Welcome back to OBX SEASON 3---Shooting FRIDAY,  MAY 27TH!  If you are new with OBX, this blog is where you will find out important information on what kind of costumes you should bring as a Background Actor on the show.

***PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING SOCKS***

Just a couple of housekeeping items to begin with......

-Please, be on time.  You will be checked in by the AD Department and fill out paperwork before we can look at you.  If you are late then the Costume Department does not get as much time to make sure you look great.  

-Always come dressed in your first, best choice of the descriptions for your character.   After reading the character descriptions that you will find here, make your best pick and wear it in.  However, you will ALWAYS be expected to bring multiple options with you so that we can make the final choices.  The final choices will be made by the Costume Dept.  Please respect that we have the overview of the day and the show, and do not complain about what we ask you to wear. Solid colors, wide stripes, plaids, and large scale prints are great! Some color is good, as long as it isn't neon. Please do not include items with narrow stripes, neons, glitter, sequins, uncomfortable shoes, and clothing with large logos & graphics/ trademarked characters (giant nike symbols, star wars tees, etc). On this particular show, simple logos are okay as long as it is mainly wording/ lettering/ phrases (not large pieces of artwork).

- It is MANDATORY that you read this blog before coming to work EVERY TIME YOU WORK.

CAMPERS:

Please bring outdoorsy athletic wear bottoms... such as Shorts and Joggers. Sneakers, teva type sandals or hiking shoes.  Also bring cozy sleepwear tops and bottoms and slippers/flip flops. No bright colors.. muted and neutrals... ie, khakis, greys, navy, green. 

CAMP STAFF:

Please bring sneakers, hiking shoes or teva type sandals.  Activewear bottoms such as shorts, leggings, hiking pants all in muted colors... greys, navy, green, khaki for example.  

CAMP SECURITY:

You will be given a grey polo and dark pants. Please bring heavy duty sneakers, hiking sneakers, hiking boots or utility boots in dark or muted colors.
