Welcome back to OBX SEASON 3---Shooting FRIDAY, JUNE 3RD!! If you are new with OBX, this blog is where you will find out important information on what kind of costumes you should bring as a Background Actor on the show.
*****YOU WILL NEED 2 CHANGES AS WE ARE SHOOTING 2 DIFFERENT EPISODES****
Just a couple of housekeeping items to begin with......
-Please, be on time. You will be checked in by the AD Department and fill out paperwork before we can look at you. If you are late then the Costume Department does not get as much time to make sure you look great.
-Always come dressed in your first, best choice of the descriptions for your character. After reading the character descriptions that you will find here, make your best pick and wear it in. However, you will ALWAYS be expected to bring multiple options with you so that we can make the final choices. The final choices will be made by the Costume Dept. Please respect that we have the overview of the day and the show, and do not complain about what we ask you to wear. Solid colors, wide stripes, plaids, and large scale prints are great! Some color is good, as long as it isn't neon. Please do not include items with narrow stripes, neons, glitter, sequins, uncomfortable shoes, and clothing with large logos & graphics/ trademarked characters (giant nike symbols, star wars tees, etc). On this particular show, simple logos are okay as long as it is mainly wording/ lettering/ phrases (not large pieces of artwork).
- It is MANDATORY that you read this blog before coming to work EVERY TIME YOU WORK.

KOOK CLASSMATES:
Guys: Please bring khaki pants, brown belt, brown loafers or brown dress shoes.
Girls: Please bring ballet flats, loafers, oxford shoes or white Keds.
ND PEDESTRIANS:
Men- please bring flip flops, sneakers, t-shirts, short sleeve button front shirts, shorts, casual pants, baseball hats, and sunglasses.
Women- please bring shorts, tank tops, t-shirts, tops, casual pants, casual summer dresses, sandals, sneakers, and flip flops, sunglasses, and casual purses.
BEACH GOER/SURFER:
Men- please bring board shorts or swim trunks, flip flops, t-shirts, super casual short sleeve button front shirts, baseball hats, and sunglasses.
Womens- please bring bathing suits, shorts, coverups, flip flops & sandals, tees and tanks, and sunglasses.
