Welcome back to OBX SEASON 4---Shooting TUESDAY, JULY 11th!! If you are new with OBX, this blog is where you will find out important information on what kind of costumes you should bring as a Background Actor on the show.
-Please, be on time. You will be checked in by the AD Department and fill out paperwork before we can look at you. If you are late then the Costume Department does not get as much time to make sure you look great.
-Always come dressed in your first, best choice of the descriptions for your character. After reading the character descriptions that you will find here, make your best pick and wear it in. However, you will ALWAYS be expected to bring multiple options with you so that we can make the final choices. The final choices will be made by the Costume Dept. Please respect that we have the overview of the day and the show, and do not complain about what we ask you to wear. Solid colors, wide stripes, plaids, and large scale prints are great! Some color is good, as long as it isn't neon. Please do not include items with narrow stripes, neons, glitter, sequins, uncomfortable shoes, and clothing with large logos & graphics/ trademarked characters (giant nike symbols, star wars tees, etc). On this particular show, simple logos are okay as long as it is mainly wording/ lettering/ phrases (not large pieces of artwork).
- It is MANDATORY that you read this blog before coming to work EVERY TIME YOU WORK.

NEIGHBORHOOD KIDS & KIDS W/ WOMAN
Please bring casual summer outfit options, including shorts, tanks, t-shirts, flip flops/sandals and sneakers. Feel free to bring options with bright colors and fun graphics to show personality.

Please bring casual summer athleisure options for walking around the neighborhood on a hot summer day. This includes tank tops, sports bras, gym shorts, leggings, t-shirts, and shirts made from wicking material. Please also bring sneakers and accessories that can complete a look, like sunglasses and hats/visors.

Please bring casual summer outfit options for riding a bike, like leggings, bike shorts, gym shorts, tank tops, sports bras, t-shirts and sneakers. Please also bring accessories like sunglasses and hats to complete the look.

Please bring summer outfit options for working in the garden, including lightweight cotton pants and short sleeve shirts, preferably floral, as well as comfortable shoes, like sneakers or sandals. Feel free to also bring accessories that can complete the look, like sunhats, sunglasses and gardening gloves.
