Welcome back to OBX SEASON 4---Shooting WEDNESDAY, JULY 12th!! If you are new with OBX, this blog is where you will find out important information on what kind of costumes you should bring as a Background Actor on the show.
-Please, be on time. You will be checked in by the AD Department and fill out paperwork before we can look at you. If you are late then the Costume Department does not get as much time to make sure you look great.
-Always come dressed in your first, best choice of the descriptions for your character. After reading the character descriptions that you will find here, make your best pick and wear it in. However, you will ALWAYS be expected to bring multiple options with you so that we can make the final choices. The final choices will be made by the Costume Dept. Please respect that we have the overview of the day and the show, and do not complain about what we ask you to wear. Solid colors, wide stripes, plaids, and large scale prints are great! Some color is good, as long as it isn't neon. Please do not include items with narrow stripes, neons, glitter, sequins, uncomfortable shoes, and clothing with large logos & graphics/ trademarked characters (giant nike symbols, star wars tees, etc). On this particular show, simple logos are okay as long as it is mainly wording/ lettering/ phrases (not large pieces of artwork).
- It is MANDATORY that you read this blog before coming to work EVERY TIME YOU WORK.

WAITRESS
Please bring casual summer wear like shorts, t-shirts, tanks, flip flops/sandals and sneakers. An apron or uniform shirt may be provided to you.
BANK CLERK
Please bring business attire such as suits, dress shirts, blazers, blouses, pencil skirts, heels, flats and dress shoes. Please also bring any accessories that can complete a look, like purses/briefcases, jewelry, watches and ties.

Please bring casual beach clothes and swimsuit options, such as shorts, tanks, trunks, rash guards, and flip flops. Feel free to also bring accessories that can complete a look like sunglasses, hats and jewelry.

Please bring casual summer wear, such as shorts, tanks, t-shirts, lightweight button-ups, dresses, skirts, flip flops, sandals, sneakers and boat shoes. Feel free to also bring accessories that can complete a look, like purses, sunglasses, hats and jewelry.

Please bring casual options for school clothes, such as t shirts, jeans, shorts and pants in any color, sandals and sneakers. Feel free to bring options with bright colors and fun graphics to show personality.

Please bring casual, but professional outfit options for taking kids on a museum field trip.
Women: bring trousers, skirts, conservative dresses, casual blouses, light sweater layers and sandals or flats for shoes.
Men: bring trousers, casual button-up shirts, polos, lightweight blazers and loafers or nice tennis shoes.
Please also bring accessories that can complete a look, like purses, jewelry, watches and belts.

MUSEUM ATTENDEES
Please bring casual summer outfits like skirts, dresses, shorts, pants, blouses, polos and lightweight button-up shirts. Please also bring sandals, boat shoes or clean tennis shoes, as well as light layering pieces like sweaters and jackets. Feel free to also bring accessories that can complete a look, like purses, watches and jewelry.

DOCENTS
Please bring black leggings or black sweatpants (if you don't have this, any loose fitting black pant), black/brown/burgundy/gray lace-up boots, and tank tops, long-sleeve and short-sleeve undershirts in white and black if you have them. We will be providing the rest of your uniform.
TOUR GROUP
Please bring casual summer outfit options, including shorts, short and long sleeve button-ups/blouses, t-shirts, light sweater layers, sandals, nice sneakers, sundresses and skirts. Please also bring any accessories that can complete the look, such as bags, jewelry, hats, watches and belts.
